Our Story
Elite Nutrition Solutions has been a result of 15+ years of experience in acute care, nutrition counseling, and long-term care facilities. There is a need for qualified dietitians with appropriate training and experience for placement in health care facilities.

About Jamie
Jamie Smith has worked in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, home health agencies, hospice agencies, acute care hospitals and brain injury centers. Jamie has created organizational systems to maintain quality nutrition care in facilities.
​
She has served her profession by volunteering in numerous roles in both her local and state dietetic association chapters, as well as being elected as a Board Member for Dietetics in Health Care Communities for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During her time serving on the DHCC Board she worked on several Academy projects and publications including writing articles in various channels.

Jamie has served the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s Subject Matter Expert Committee for the Certified Specialist in Gerontological (CSG) Nutrition Exam, where she continues to serve on the Expert Committee which is tasked with writing and reviewing the CSG exam.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health & Nutrition from West Chester University, completed her dietetic internship from Meredith College, and received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from East Carolina University. In addition to being an expert in long term care and gerontological nutrition, she also has extensive experience in behavioral health and brain injury care.
